Japanese-Silk-Design
was founded in 2019 with a sustainable and deeply personal approach to creating luxury pillows from Japanese Kimono silks, fine silk and wool blends and Shima cottons for your home and personal environment.
In addition to our pillow line we offer beautiful custom made, kimono silk throw blankets and a scarf collection. Our scarves are created using hand-dyed, -printed and hand-painted Japanese Kimono silks.
With a commitment to sustainability, all of our products are custom designed and crafted in our atelier in Germany from individually chosen Kimonos and other superb Japanese textiles from our partners in Japan. In addition, we offer an assortment of limited custom made items by special order.
Each of our collections features compellingly beautiful examples of traditional and modern Japanese textile art.
